Bosses at a Kirkham energy firm say they are “pleased” after announcing half year results.
Inspired Energy, an energy procurement consultant to UK corporates, announces its consolidated, unaudited, half year results for the six month period ended June 30, 2014.
The company announced revenue has increased by 41 per cent to £5m as well as recording six months of corporate order book sales of £4.8m.
Janet Thornton, managing director of Inspired, said: “I am pleased by the strong performance the group has delivered in the period.
“The corporate division continues to go from strength to strength and has performed exceptionally well, as demonstrated by the continued growth of its profitability, order book and reputation within the market. The small and medium enterprises division has performed in line with our expectations, allowing us to further invest in the team and the infrastructure of the business.
“The benefit of this investment will be seen in the second half of this year and beyond. We have started the second half well and are in a strong position to deliver further growth for the full year and look forward to the future with confidence.”
Group chairman Bob Holt said: “We are pleased with our performance in the first half of 2014, one which we could not have achieved without the hard work of our team and of course without the continued support of our loyal customers who we strive to deliver the best advice and results for.”
