An organisation dedicated to healthy business development and growth in Lancashire is expanding its services to the Fylde Coast.
The Business Clinic – a growing Preston-based community interest company – was set up to support companies across county.
As part of its range of services it holds regular ‘peerworking surgeries’. They allow business owners and managers to share the expertise, knowledge, ideas and experience of people across a range of businesses in a confidential setting.
It has now expanded the surgeries to Blackpool in a partnership with online business support provider Blackpool Unlimited.
The Thursday morning surgeries are being held bi-weekly at Blackpool Enterprise Centre.
The Business Clinic’s chief executive Helen Livesey said: “The Blackpool surgeries now allow us to reach out and help and support even more businesses and business owners across the county.
“It’s a great opportunity for people to discuss opportunities and challenges facing themselves and their businesses.
“This is a chance to innovate with other business owners who will give impartial support and advice. Their only interest is to support other businesses.
“It’s a really strong way to enhance business development and growth. The feedback we get from these sessions is that they really are a powerful tool.
“It is all about sharing the expertise, knowledge, ideas and experience of people across a range of businesses in a friendly setting.
“We take a collaborative approach in everything we do because it is an approach that works for business. Why be alone?”
Blackpool Unlimited was established by a partnership between the Blackpool Business Leadership Group, and Blackpool Council to help businesses in the town realise their potential.
The Business Clinic aims to deliver independent and thought-provoking strategy, skills and support to ensure healthier profits.
