Blackpool based business CME Medical has been awarded the Investors in People Gold Standard Award.
This high Standard, which is the benchmark of good people management practice, is accredited to only 16 per cent of UK employers with an average of 10 per cent of these companies achieving the coveted Gold Accreditation.
The award was given following a comprehensive audit by Investor in People assessors who evaluated the company’s performance and approach to its people through ten key areas within three different sections: Plan, Do and Review. Luan Mann, HRD Associate Director at CME Medical comments: ‘We are so pleased to have received this prestigious award at the highest level. We are committed to improving staff development and providing a workplace where employees are given the encouragement to succeed and to be fully engaged and involved in the business. Investors in People is one of the leading accreditations for business improvement through people in the country and it’s an honour to have it against our name.”
The investor in People Gold award comes after a successful 2014 for CME Medical which was awarded the Skills for Health Quality Mark for its technical training programme and it’s re-accreditation by the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) across its medical device product training range for the fifth year in a row.
