Automotive, cycling and camping retailer Halfords has launched its refitted store on Blackpool Retail Park.

The firm has revamped its Squires Gate Lane store with new features, products and services which it says is designed to make the shopping experience more convenient for customers.

Cyclists can park up in the new exterior bike parks and top up their tyres, while, in store, kids can play on the fun cycle track and adults can try before they buy, too.

Measurement charts help guide you to the right frame and the WeRepair team –
including an in-store bike technician – are on hand to help customers looking for a bike service.

Halfords Blackpool manager Dave Fendle said: “We know that Blackpool wants accessible, convenient service and straightforward repairs – and this new format has helped to meet that passion with a fantastic range of automotive parts, bikes and great looking accessories.”

A central feature of Halfords new store is its customer friendly hub for all customer queries, click and collect orders and a browse and relax area with seating and a coffee machine.

New technology is on hand throughout in the form of interactive screens demonstrating products and tablets with product guides to help customers choose the right bulb or battery.
