A Blackpool woman who champions females in business has come up with a new idea to put them in the spotlight.
Coral Horn, managing director of the Squires Gate-based Pink Link Ladies networking group, is behind the new LIFE exhibition brand.
The January expo will coincide with Coral’s tenth year in business. Its aims are to have a positive impact on female business growth in the region and will be held beneath the wings of Concorde at Manchester airport.
Coral said: “LIFE stands for Ladies Inspiring Future Enterprise.
“The expo will offer attendees the chance to consider business opportunities from a range of lifestyle businesses that will fit around a busy home life to how to start up your own business or be part of a franchise.”
She said there will be a variety of guest’s speakers to inspire and educate as well as tours on board the legendary supersonic airliner Concorde based at the airport’s Runway Visitor Park.
IFE announced one of its first international speakers – Dr Cheryl Chapman, pictured left, who was originally from Fleetwood, and now travels the World as a keynote speaker.
She is a multi award-winning international speaker, director of the Association of Transformational Leaders Europe, co-author of the award-winning book, Find Your Why to become frickin’ awesome, and co-creator of the Find Your WHY Foundation.
Coral said: “We are really excited to be able to work with Cheryl, she is local, but has carved out an international career for herself and will be extremely inspiring for our attendees.”
The Expo which is to be held on Saturday, January 26, will bring together women who are considering changing their careers and women already in business who are seeking services to help them with their growth plans.
Coral has also brought in Rebecca Jane who earlier this year sold her top franchise business ‘The Lady Detective Agency’ to work on the expo project.
