CityWing operates out of Blackpool, Newcastle, Cardiff, Gloucestershire and RAF Valley, flying overseas to Belfast, Isle of Man and Jersey.

And Mandy Tythe-McCallum, tourism manager at Marketing Blackpool, says this is an ideal opportunity to showcase Blackpool to a wider market.

She said: “This is great for Blackpool. Around 1,500 passengers use Citywing every week so that means many people will be able to see just how wonderful Blackpool is and how much it has to offer.

“Blackpool welcomes more than 13 million visitors every year with 50,000 of them business tourism visitors.

“We know these numbers can be higher and therefore we are delighted to be working with Citywing on such a great promotional opportunity.”

David Buck, managing director at Citywing said: “We are delighted to be working with Marketing Blackpool and helping them promote the resort to our passengers. Blackpool is a fantastic holiday resort and is a great place for business tourism so we hope that by playing the video showcase to our passengers they will be encouraged to visit Blackpool.”
