A Fylde coast tourist attraction has invested half an million pounds to bring a touch more luxury for visitors.

Ribby Hall Village at Wrea Green has invested the six figure sum in its posh Spa Hotel and has created six more jobs at the complex.

The work includes £200,000 invested in the hotel’s outdoor Zen Garden, a makeover for the pampering parlour where visitors get their own makeover and new showers and changing areas.

Spa Manager Jane Tregonning said: “The customer journey is always at the forefront of our minds and these refurbishments make it easier for customers to make the most of what we offer.”

The Zen garden has been given a second hot tub along with a Himalayan Salt Sauna and an outdoor experience shower with mood lighting and body jets.

Jane Tregonning said: “We heard from our guests that they wanted more from the outdoor space at The SPA because it’s such a relaxing place to be.

“We’re particularly delighted with the new Himalayan Salt Sauna with its floor to ceiling windows offering fabulous views. The salt bricks in the walls of the sauna look amazing and are said to support respiratory function and sinus health, to improve mood and sleep and to help balance blood pressure.”

In the Wellness Suite in The SPA Hotel, guests have an increased choice of alternative therapies such as hypnotherapy, crystal therapy, physiotherapy and yoga.

The Finishing Touches Suite within The SPA Lounge has been revamped and changing areas at the Spa Hotel have been refurbished with twice the number of women’s cubicles.
