Burglar who walked out of prison caught
A man who absconded from HMP Kirkham has been caught.
Thomas Welch, 41, left the prison on Wednesday.
He was apprehended in Runcorn, near Warrington, yesterday.
Welch was jailed for five and a half years for burglary by Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court in 2016.
