Ric Hulme and Jay Devine have teamed up to help gig-goers stave off the munchies, with a new venture at the Waterloo Music Bar.

But their hand-made Moshpit Burgers also feature a special ingredient, which they believe is a first in the UK - cannabinoid oil.

Ric said: “I suffer from anxiety and use CBD oil to treat that and I’ve found it quite effective.

“There is tons of things that the oil can be used for though like treating pain for example.”

Ric, 33, who fronts hiphop outfit Eye The Bomb, and Black Eddy guitarist Jay, 32, formerly a chef at West Coast Rock Cafe and Bootleg Social, are already receiving great reviews from both gig goers and the general trade.

“The recipe is 100 per cent my own and the burger really does stand apart from others.”

Moshpit Burgers also boast a vegan Oumph! pulled pork-style burger, thought to be a resort first.

“A large part of the punk community are vegetarian or vegan so it’s great we can provide a burger to meet their needs too,” Ric added.
