No Angel officially opened in Cleveleys at the weekend to bring a touch of quality for all ages at great prices too.For Caroline Hannon, a former police officer, its her first business venture. And she enlisted the help of friend Linzi Martin, of Retro Chic Unique in Fleetwood, to cast her creative eye on the interior. They came up with a trendy monochrome colour scheme with splashes of bright colour. It forms the perfect backdrop for the range of clothing on offer - from casual denims to going out wear and special occasions.Caroline, 40, a mum of two, said: “I wanted to create a boutique where mums and daughters could come and be completely kitted out together with new outfits without traipsing round shops.“Some people give up on fashion and feel uncomfortable in high street stores.“I want to try and combat that by offering a place where they can browse and feel comfy and relaxed.“We also offer an out-of-hours service by appointment.”Caroline was in the police force for 16 years and has worked in consultancy but she really wanted to fulfil her ambition of working for herself.“I used to be a window dresser for M&S, that’s where my interest in retail comes from.”Caroline launched No Angel, on Cleveleys Avenue, with a launch party and says she has had some great feedback from customers who commented on how great it was to have something different in Cleveleys. She has plenty of other ideas in the pipeline including plus wear and designing maternity clothing. There are plenty of accessories in stock and the boutique website – with photography by local photographer Alan Duggan – will be up and running soon.
