Blackpool Yoga session to aid hurricane victims
A charity yoga event is being held tomorrow at Yoga Blackpool in Bispham with all proceeds donated to the British Virgin Islands Relief Fund being run by entrepreneur Richard Branson.
Angela Ross from the Queens Promenade yoga studio said they were inspired to lend a hand after seeing the sheer scale of the destruction that Irma had caused.

“We are holding three one hour classes, with a 15 minute break in between, in three different styles of yoga.
“You can come and join us for one class or all three.
“We will have some healthy treats and herbal teas to finish our yoga community gathering.
“All levels are welcome and a great opportunity for complete beginners to experience some different styles of yoga.”

Suggested donations are £12 per class and places can be reserved by calling 07949910088.
The Bispham studio was opened a year ago by Angela who had set up her own business after receiving help from Blackpool Council’s Get Started in business scheme.
She added: “The British Virgin Islands need an enormous amount of help to recover from the damage. Richard Branson’s organisation has waived all fees to 100 per cent of donations go to helping the people there.”
