Blackpool town centre eaterie is approved

Plans have been approved to convert an empty store on Church Street, Blackpool, into a restaurant.

Applicant David Worsfold had his scheme approved by town hall planners using their delegated powers.

A planning statement accompanying the application says the business will offer drinks, light meals, cakes and pastries.

It adds once the business has become established, it is hoped to develop the first floor as a business lounge with overflow seating for the restaurant, while the second floor would also be refurbished in the future to provide serviced office accommodation.
