Blackpool is the spark in new energy specialist

Rapidly expanding Manchester-based agency Thirty 30 Media has announced the launch of a new energy division, geared towards providing consultancy as well as specialist PR and marketing support to a range of energy and sustainability clients.

Newly appointed head of energy Phil McVan and senior account manager John McVan, both from Blackpool, have joined the team at Thirty 30 Media.

The aim is to create a specialist service tailored to the marketing and analysis needs of a wide range of energy clients.

Phil McVan has more than 30 years’ experience in the energy industry, starting his career at the Lytham-based Inenco Group where he held a variety of senior positions.

After 23 years with Inenco, he rose to the position of main board marketing director, and has since held a variety of senior management roles across a spectrum of energy businesses, including procurement, renewable energy solutions and sustainability.

John McVan has an established track record as an energy specialist PR manager, having worked for a range of major energy companies in both agency and in-house roles, including Inenco Group, Inspired Energy and Love Energy Savings, as well as supporting a broad range of alternative energy and sustainability businesses.
