Lynette Horsburgh had eight good reasons to break her party ban last night after becoming Foster's World 8-Ball Pool ladies singles champion.
The 34-year-old Blackpool star defeated fellow first time finalist Barbara Taylor 8-6 at the Imperial Hotel.
Mum Anne, boyfriend Karl Boyes and deposed champion Sue Thompson were among the first people to congratulate the Lancashire pool queen.
"Karl really tried to get me focussed for the event this year," said happy Horsburgh.
"He's been telling me I had the game to win.
"So, I cut out the late nights, the parties and the drinks and it's obviously worked."
And the petite Blackpool potter plans to reward her dedication by spending some of the 1,400 prize fund on a new dressing table and mirror!
Indeed, she used the winners' trophy to apply her lippy and check her make-up for the post match photos.
