Losing 2st helped give Westby mum Mandy Threlfall a whole new lease of life – including a new career.
The 29-year-old signed up to the Cambridge Weight Plan in 2016 and soon dropped from 10st 8lbs to 8st 7lbs.
She found it so easy to follow and felt so much better for shedding the pounds, she decided she wanted to help others have the same success.
She became a Cambridge Weight Plan consultant in January last year and has now opened her own Cambridge Weight Plan centre, on St Annes Road, in South Shore.
Mandy, who lives with partner Chris, and their daughter Lucy, aged two, said: “I started the Cambridge plan after having my baby because I put on weight during pregnancy.
“A family member had done well with the Cambridge plan, so I started it with my mum and my grandma.
“Doing it with them was great, as we all helped and supported each other.
“My consultant Sarah Smith was fantastic and I lost 7lbs in the first week!
“For me, it’s so easy to follow. You know you are getting the right balance of nutrients, vitamins and minerals.
“There’s flexibility and you can gradually increase your calories, so you know you’re going to stick to it.
“I’ve kept the weight off I lost.
“I feel like I have so much more energy, I feel fitter, I’ve gone back to the gym. I go for healthier options with food.
“And it’s really boosted my confidence.
“It really has made such a difference. I wanted to pass that on to other people. So I decided to become a Cambridge Weight Plan consultant and I have been doing that since last January.
“It’s so rewarding seeing people succeed and what a difference it makes to them.
“One of my slimmers, Daniel Potts, has lost 6st 9lbs in 17 weeks and I am so proud of him.
“And I’m now so excited to have opened my Cambridge Weight Plan centre in Blackpool.
“People can come in and have a chat, they can make an appointment for a free consultation.
“I just want to help other people.”
