The contract will see the catering and event management business handle hospitality, event, wedding and corporate catering managing at the Woodlands Memorial Ground club for the next five years.

Campbell and Rowley are already experienced in the sporting life, having provided event catering at Cartmel Racecourse in Cumbria and of course their long standing relationship with Blackpool Football Club at Bloomfield Road.

They also did the catering for the BIBAs awards at Blackpool Tower Ballroom earlier this month.

Chef and director Paul Rowley said: “We are a local business in our ‘sandgrown’ family connections and in our approach.

“This new partnership is a real dream come true for a local lad. As a growing business in reputation and footprint our roots are firmly in Lancashire as our home. I’m looking forward to developing a locally sourced British menu with a Rowley twist.”

Fylde Rugby Club chairman, Dave Young said: “As a club and a business, we are facing some exciting opportunities and challenges.

“As the team pushes on in National One, as a club we are developing our corporate and event hospitality offer through this strategic partnership. We want to exploit the assets of the splendid clubhouse and this partnership is a great fit for us.

“We are looking forward to working with Lindsay, Paul and team and hope to welcome more businesses and families to our venue.

“And for existing members, spectators and customers, this initiative will help to protect and extend the quality and range of services we provide.

“Continuity will be assured through the retention of Dave Kennedy as manager.”
