The August bank holiday weekend saw the Blackpool Federation of Allotments’ annual produce show being held.
Green-fingered gardeners were showing off their prized fruit and vegetables at the show, which took place at Stanley Park’s visitor centre.
As well as produce, flowers cakes and jam were also being judged.
Trustee of the federation said, Derek Cooper, said: “This is a fantastic show again with produce on show that even beats Southport Flower Show.
“It’s great to have so many plot holders entering and this year has seen [the number] increase.
“Once the judges had finished we opened the door to the public free of charge, and we were busy all day with more than 400 people calling in to see our show.”
The show was only open to those who have allotments in Blackpool that are managed by the federation. The group has opened its allotment waiting list. People can request an application form by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org
