As ideal jobs go, tasting and approving the sweets on sale at Blackpool Tower must be pretty high on the list.
Or how about ‘chief of fun’, responsible for testing the resort’s world famous attractions?
Well they’re real and up for grabs – but only children aged seven to 11 can apply.
The Tower is putting together its team of ‘mini’ experts to bring in fresh ideas and keep its top team of decision makers on their toes.
And the ‘salary’ for successful applicants will be free admission to the Tower until they are 18 and passes for three family members.
There are five roles available on the mini board, which Tower bosses say will test the youngsters’ creativity and sense of fun.
The team will meet every couple of months – outside school hours – to discuss the latest happenings at The Blackpool Tower with general manager Kenny Mew.
Kenny said: “We are really looking forward to hearing from young people who feel they can add something to life at The Tower.
“We’re nearly 125 years old so now feels like the perfect opportunity to bring in new faces that can help shape the next 125 years.
“We are a family attraction and love to receive feedback – now we are literally throwing open our doors and inviting a Mini Team to join the key decision makers.
“We promise the roles will provide lots of fun in addition to lots of new learning opportunities.”
