We are auctioning a painting by cult Blackpool artist Marc Atherton, also known as Catch 22, of the Nolan Sisters, which was painted for their appearance on The One Show last year.

All the money raised from the auction, currently running on eBay, will go towards our campaign, which is helping to fund the biggest refurbishment ever at Trinity Hospice and Brian House children’s hospice on Low Moor Road, Bispham.

And it has won the support of Linda Nolan, who features on the painting and remembers it being drawn for the sisters.

She will promote the eBay listing on her Nolans fan site.

She said: “We love that the painting is being used to raise money for Hospice Heroes and it’s so great we can be involved in this way.”

Hospice Heroes is aiming to raise £200,000 for the works at Trinity, which turns 30 next year.

The auction ends on Friday.
