Firefighters from Preesall and Bispham were called to the fire in a barn measuring 50m by 10m at 6.30pm on Friday.
They used buckets of water to extinguish the fire which is believed to have been started deliberately.
A neighbour spotted five youths running away from the scene, across a neighbouring golf course, and they were later picked up by police.
