A COURT heard how a Blackpool man forgot abut items he put into his baby’s buggy when he went shopping at a Co-op store.

It was only when James Lowther got home to Portland Avenue he realised he had left without paying for toothpaste and washing up liquid worth £12.12.

However he kept and used the items rather than take them back, Blackpool magistrates were told.

Lowther admitted shoplifting and was given a three months supervision order and a 12 month conditional discharge.
