AUDIO: 999 call from fatal house fire

This is the frantic 999 call made on the night of a tragic fire in Freckleton, which killed four siblings.

Dyson Allen, 19, of no fixed address, has been found guilty of the manslaughter of 19-year-old Reece Smith, four-year-old twin girls Holly and Ella Smith and Jordan Smith, aged two, following an eight week trial at Preston Crown Court.

The images released byt the police show the damage caused by the fatal fire that broke out in the bungalow on Lytham Road on January 7 last year.

In a conversation with the emergency services, one caller can be heard saying “you need to get the little babies please.”

Dyson Allen is later heard on the phone saying: “Can you hurry up please the house is on fire.

“The fire is upstairs. It’s in the room where they (the children) are sleeping. That fire is spreading. “You cant get upstairs at all because of the smoke – no-one can get in.”
