Art exhibition to open doors
Accompanied by Valerie Eastham and the adjudicator Peter Layzell, the Mayor said it gave him great pleasure to present the awards to talented artists at the society’s Studio in Haven Road, Lytham.
Mr Layzell – a noted figure painter and teacher at Blackpool College – gave a short critique of each of the successful pictures explaining why they had been selected as members admired all the works at the exhibition, which runs until August 3.
