A MAN was stabbed in the neck during a house party in Thornton.
The 40-year-old suffered a deep wound to his neck after an argument broke out at a house on Peace Place, Thornton.
Six police cars and vans as well as an ambulance crew were called to the scene around 10pm on Friday.
A police spokesman said: “There were around 20 people at a party at the address.
An argument has taken place and one male has been taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital with a deep arterial wound that required stitches.
“Statements have been taken from witnesses at the party and inquiries are still on-going.”
A 17-year-old man turned himself in at the local police station and has been arrested on suspicion of assault.
