Armed robbers hold up bookmakers

Knife wielding robbers threatened customers and staff at a bookmakers before making off with hundreds of pounds in cash.

William Hill, on St Annes Road West, was targeted by two men at around 8.45pm on Sunday.

The pair threatened customers in the shop before taking around £200 from the till.

Det Sgt Mark Dickinson, from Blackpool CID, said: “Two men entered the shop armed with a knife, made threats, and made off with around £200 from the till.”
