Anti-fracking campaigner took protest to wagon roof
Police closed off a carriageway after an anti-fracking protester took to the roof of a wagon.
The campaigner took their protest to the roof of the vehicle on Preston New Road, close to the fracking site, at around 4.30pm.
A contraflow was put in place by police, who have advised drivers to consider alternate routes. Witnesses reported heavy traffic in the area as of 6.20pm.
