Organisers of the annual Bilsborrow and District Flower, Produce and Handicraft Show have told of their delight at its success – saying the event was better received than ever by visitors.
The show – the 56th in its history – was held in the village hall and attracted more than 650 entries.
Organisers say it was also well supported by the public.
“It went very well and it was an all round, good show with lots of dahlias,” said show chairman Margery Stuart.
“A good number of people also turned out to support it, which was very pleasing.”
Trophies and prizes were presented by John Blackley, who also acted as auctioneer for those entries sold off to raise cash for the staging of next year’s show.
