Have your say

NOW there are even more ways for you to enjoy your Gazette.

We have just launched our new iPad and Android tablet applications – offering the
latest news throughout the day as well as complete electronic copies of the newspaper.

The ‘app’ – which is now available at the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Appstore – has been designed to offer readers a dynamic way to keep up to date whether at home or on the move.

They feature full articles, videos and picture galleries, as well as the ability to browse through complete editions of the paper or download them for reading offline later.

What’s more, subscribers of the print newspaper get free access to the app throughout their
subscription period.

Alternatively readers can just subscribe to the app through the app stores, and will get 30 days free access.

Gazette Editor Jon Rhodes said: “We are very excited by the launch of our new app for tablets.

“This enables people anywhere in the world to access a copy of The Gazette in its full print format.

“The newspaper is uploaded daily and readers can flick through an electronic version of the pages – just as they would with a paper
version of The Gazette.

“This means you can now stay up-to-date with local news, entertainment, features and sports news at the click of a button.

“The Gazette really is bringing local news to you – no matter where you happen to be.”

Find the apps in the app stores by searching for “Blackpool Gazette”.

Print subscribers will soon be sent unique subscription numbers to access the app. To subscribe to the newspaper and get free access to a choice of the tablet apps, go to
