A man accused of making indecent photographs of children has made his first appearance in court.

Kyle Williams, 41, of Central Drive, Blackpool, faces eight charges of making an indecent picture of a child and two charges of possessing an indecent picture of a child.

The offences are alleged to have taken place in Blackpool between November and December 2013.

Chrissie Hunt, prosecuting, asked for the case to be heard at crown court. Defence lawyer, Steven Townley, said his client pleaded not guilty to all the offences.

Williams was bailed to appear at Preston Crown Court on May 20 by the bench at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.

He must not have any unsupervised contact, unless inadvertent, with any child under 16 as a condition of his bail.
