FROM Blackpool Tower to the Eiffel Tower, these Fylde coast children said ‘c’est super’ about their French school trip.

Students from St Aidan’s CE Technology College, Preesall, visited Paris last week to improve their language skills.

The 38 children, plus staff, visited Notre Dame, L’Arc de Triomphe, Le Louvre, and La Tour Eiffel, with a fun filled day at Disneyland Paris thrown in for good measure.

Amy Ronson, 14, said: “I enjoyed seeing the amazing sights of Paris, especially seeing the city from the top of the Eiffel Tower. I have learnt a lot about Paris I didn’t know and made new friends while I was there.”

John Tawn, 13, said: “Disneyland was amazing. The whole trip helped me feel more independent and I would definitely go back to Paris.”

Some pupils really immersed themselves in French culture and dared to try the country’s delicacy of snails.

Lauren McGlynn, 13, said: “I got to try snails, they were disgusting!”
