Abbey Telecom Christmas parties in Europe have been running since 2006 to reward longevity of service and engender team spirit, motivation and a sense of collective pride.
Mr Raynor said: “I think happy workers are more productive.”
Around 17 members of staff enjoyed the weekend break in the Swiss city famous for its 140m high fountain on Lake Geneva and being the home of the International Red Cross.
Also joining the team for the trip was consultant Andrea Wallace who has been working with Abbey Telecom since 2012.
Mr Raynor said her work had been instrumental in helping the telephone systems installer achieve significant growth, increasing sales conversion rates and uptake of its lines and minutes packages.
He said: “Andrea’s work with us over the last few years has been invaluable.
“We came within a cat’s whisker of attaining 20 per cent in growth in 2014 by tapping into her strategic expertise and we’re on course to repeat that in 2015.
Andrea said: “It’s always nice to get positive feedback for your work and being asked to join the Abbey Telecom team’s Christmas party in Geneva was a really lovely surprise.”
