They have taken to social media to share some of the most shocking incidents they’ve attended, from unrestrained babies, to dangerous loads, and dangerous drink and drug-related crashes.

7. Reversing on motorway
In August the driver of this van missed his turn off on the M55, then reversed along the hard shoulder to complete the exit. Police said: "They didn’t see the potential danger they caused making this manoeuvre stating they had only reversed a short distance. 8. Motorbike failed to stop
This motorcycle was seen being ridden at 100mph+ near to Lytham on August 10. The rider failed to stop and 'pursuit mitigation tactics' were implemented to safely stop the rider. It transpired that the rider only had a provisional licence with no insurance. They were reported for dangerous driving and the bike was seized. | Lancs Police Photo: Lancs Police

9. Abnormal load
On July 30 this vehicle was escorted into the DVSA enforcement checksite at Farington for inspection by CVU officers. An abnormal load movement notification had not been submitted and the vehicle was too wide, long and heavy. 10. 60mph e-bikes
On July 28, these e-bikes had been riding on the road and the pavement at nearly 60mph, almost striking pedestrians. Working with Blackpool Neighbourhood Policeing Team, the road police used tactics to stop these bikes. One rider got away without a bike. 11. On retention
The owner of this Ferrari was spotted in July on the M6. When officers tried to check the registration it came back as being on retention. They said: "When we spoke with the driver it transpired they had just put their private plate on without informing DVLA. Fixed penalty issued." | Lancs Police Photo: Lancs Police

12. McDonalds run
In July this car was seen parked and unattended J34 entry slip road M6 while a road closure was in place. Just as recovery was called, the driver and his child returned having walked to the nearest McDonalds for a takeaway to wait for the traffic to ease.
