They tied the knot on March 29 at the Pavilion on the Prom and, coupled with stunning photos from Ashley Barnard Photography, the drone brought an exciting element to the day.

Leigh was also treated to a surprise ascent up Blackpool Tower for some extra special pictures.

The Blackpool couple met at their local pub and Paul proposed on Christmas Day 2015.

Leigh, 29, a domestic assistant, said: “It was funny because when he was waiting for me to come in the room and my little girl said ‘I think she’ll say no’.

“I was not nervous at all, which was really weird. The driver said he couldn’t believe how calm I was even walking down the aisle.

“However, a few people said I spoke very fast during vows.

“My uncle Barry walked me down the aisle and also made our beautiful cake and his wife Hazel from Four Seasons Florist in Poulton did our amazing flowers.

“He also gave an amazing speech which meant a lot to many people, there wasn’t a dry eye to be seen.”

After the service, the newlyweds headed for the seafront and at first Leigh thought they were just going to the Comedy Carpet for pictures when in fact they were going up the tower.

She said: “I saw Ashley outside the tower, I wasn’t exactly happy at first but so glad Paul arranged it.

“It was so much fun and very different and then he told me about the drone.

“That was great especially when we could see it - it was a big surprise. We couldn’t have done everything we wanted to do without family especially my mum, gran, grandpa and dad. I had a great day.

Paul, 42, a deputy manager at Argos added: “It was the most amazing and natural day we could of asked for.

The couple enjoyed a family camping trip for their honeymoon.
