Cricket club to host new beer festival
St Annes Cricket Club is getting set for a bumper family festival to mark Halloween and Bonfire Night.
Officials at the Vernon Road Club are keen to build on the success of two super-successful events held in the summer and have scheduled a six-day beer festival and family fun event for October 31 to November 5.
The club held its first-ever beer and cider festival in June and it proved a big success. A family fun day then followed, again successfully, in August.
The beer festival opens at 4pm next Thursday.
