High scoring Dolphins made their sponsors pay dearly in a marathon netball session. For the side, sponsored for every goal they scored during the five-and-a-half hour tournament, netted a grand total of 105. Pupils at Bishop Rawstorne High school at Croston, near Chorley, proved 'good buddies' to disabled sportsman 14-year-old David Alcock when they raised more than 400 in a sponsored CB radio marathon. Nearly 40 people joined a 12-hour non-stop talk-in on Citizen's Band Radio to help David buy a special high-speed wheelchair
