The young people, many of them patients at the Whinney Heys Road hospital, were taking part in the national Children’s Commissioner’s Takeover Challenge.

They took over departments including medical photography, communications, and patient experience for the campaign, which sees organisations across England opening their doors to young people to take over adult roles.
