Fylde and Wyre patients to '˜soon' see significant changes

Residents living in Fylde and Wyre are to get new health services to help the most vulnerable, Dr Tony Naughton said.

The GP, from The Thornton Practice, and clinical chief officer at Fylde and Wyre Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), which organises and buys healthcare in the area, spoke after an inspection found the group – founded in 2013 – to be outstanding

He said: “Just like when you start building a house and nobody can see all the bits that go underground, the gas supply, water pipes, etc, we have been busy laying the foundations here at the CCG.

“Then the walls and physical structure start to go up and everyone can see the hard work that is happening and soon people will start to see significant changes to the way services are delivered in Fylde and Wyre.”
