After years of performing and dancing, Hannah Ramsbottom and I are set to become a dancing duo.

Hannah’s passion for dance and gymnastics started when she was seven- years-old.

However, it was when she was 10-years-old that she started it seriously.

Her favourite styles of dance are sassy commercial as well as modern and lyrical.

She has a vast history of performing these styles of dances.

When I asked Hannah what her highlight has been, she said: “I love performing,

“Being on the national squad for gym has been one of the highlights.”

As Hannah grows up, she hopes to pass on her skills to younger dancers and gymnasts as a coach.

She also hopes to continue to perform in her free time at university.

Meanwhile, I started training when I was six-years-old in theatre schools and I made my debut performance when I was seven-years-old.

From then, I branched out into acting, while still maintaining my talent for dancing.

My favourite styles of dances are street, modern and contemporary.

I have had the opportunity to perform throughout the Fylde area and beyond, having performed at the Marine Hall, Guild Hall, Charter Theatre and the Winter Gardens.

When I asked Hannah about why more people should dance, she said: “It’s made us both more confident as people not only dancers.

“You don’t have to have the best technique to be an amazing dancer, you just have to have fun and enjoy yourself on stage!”

I personally think more boys should take on dance because it’s a way for boys to come out of their shells.

If you have a passion for something you love, you shouldn’t let anything stop you.
