The annual panic around exam results day has been intensified this year, after one of the most difficult years for students and their parents in recent memory.

The stresses of home education, online learning and Covid absences could have a major impact on exam results. The team at Blackpool and The Fylde College know this all too well, and have a team on hand to help you guide your child onto the right pathway for them.

Perhaps their exam results are unexpectedly better than planned, and more courses are available to them than before. Perhaps they failed to get the grades, and want to look at alternative routes to their final course of choice.

Or maybe their English and Maths results let them down; if so, the college can help them resit these exams, alongside other courses, to ensure they have a productive year in education before what comes next.

Philip Grant, Head of 16-19 at Blackpool and The Fylde College said: “Our strong message this year is not to panic. There will be options available for your child, and courses that suit them here at the college. We’ve got trained advisors standing by to help you, and them, make the choices that work.”

There are diplomas, T levels and apprenticeships available in a range of subjects. School-leavers who already know what they want to apply for can do so here.

There are plenty of courses to choose from, and this Ofsted grade 1 college has a package that will appeal to all, including free transport to college and free breakfasts, so find out about what’s on offer here. There’s even an option of a guaranteed place on a degree courses for students who successfully complete their level three qualifications.
