A Blackpool college launches virtual open days
Bosses at Blackpool and the Fylde College are refusing to let the coronavirus pandemic spoil their plans.
So while the further education institution can't throw open its doors to potential students because of social distancing rules, they are determined not to host their peon days - thanks to technology.

Hide AdInstead, teenagers and their families can tour the college and its facilities at the weekly virtual open events to help students get set for September.
Startin this Wednesday, the college is running three separate sessions, each from 2pm to 4pm: starting with School leavers on Wednesdays, degree-level courses will be on Thursdays and after that Tuesday will be for adult learners.
Virtual open events are free and give you the chance to find out more about the college and its courses, and talk to staff about the study experience and careers.
