New Fylde hotel sees partnership with Blackpool helicopter training firm take off

A new, five-star aparthotel in St Annes has signed a deal with a UK helicopter pilot business, as its preferred accommodation supplier.

Pilots who use the services of Helispeed at Blackpool Airport, will not only be able to get the required down time and rest, but also take advantage of the Hy hotel’s high-end specification when on the coast for their studies.

Gemma Walker, operations director, at HeliSpeed said: “As a leading professional helicopter training academy and a globally recognised independent school for both beginners and experienced pilots, we needed somewhere that not only provided first-class accommodation but also somewhere that offers flexibility for the pilots.
