County Councillor Niki Penney, chairman of Lancashire County Developments Ltd (pictured) and member of the Creative Lancashire board, said: “Creative ideas are often untested, which can make it harder to get the funding you need to support your business. Rosebud recognises the crucial role that creativity and innovation can play in driving the economy.

“We have sector specialists who can offer support and advice, which helps to flag up opportunities for your business.

“Finance from Rosebud Micro could be the answer to unlocking new funding for your business, as it can be matched with other finance and used to help to attract other sources.”

Through Rosebud Micro, companies in Lancashire could get from £10,000 to £49,000 to support their plans. Rosebud Micro is accessed through Access2Finance on behalf of LCDL – the county council’s economic development department.

County Coun Penney continued: “Companies sometimes need extra funding to support their big idea. Rosebud Micro can be used to support your business – whether it’s to develop a new product, for new equipment, recruitment or to help open up new markets.

“As well as funding your growth ideas, Rosebud Micro also includes free support and advice that’s tailored to the needs of your business. You’ll get hands-on support including half-yearly meetings with sector specialists.”
