Finance group adds to staffing numbers

Lytham-based North West financial planning business Ludlow Wealth Management Group has taken on six new staff as it continues its growth plans.

The group is one of the region’s largest independently-owned financial planning businesses with £550m assets under management.

It has taken on three consultants, Christopher Crichton-Rankin, Lucy Hargreave and Ryan Hesketh.

Christopher, who lives on The Fylde, moves from a role as business development manager for Questa Chartered Financial Planners will be based at the firm’s Lytham office.

Meanwhile while Lucy, of Lytham, will work at Ludlow’s Southport HQ as a trainee consultant and joins from inter-broker dealers Mariana Capital Markets in London.

She holds qualifications including the Diploma in Investment Advice and a Certificate in Derivatives.

Ryan, of Worsthorne near Burnley, joins Ludlow’s Blackburn office as a financial consultant from AXA Wealth, working with Yorkshire Bank customers.

He holds the IFS level four diploma for Financial advisors.

Sid Ludlow, Ludlow chief executive, said: “As we look to grow and maintain a first-class client service, we need new advisers who will help achieve our objectives.

In addition, Ludlow has also recently appointed three support staff – Lana Baggaley, Katherine Lee and Karl Baker.

Earlier in the year, Diane Lang joined the firm as a consultant at its Southport headquarters.
