The curtain will not rise on 'Aladdin: the Pantomime' at the Globe or the Gatsby Dinner show this year following Matt Hancock's announcement that Lancashire will stay in Tier 3 until at least January, 2021.

But officials said the Christmas Grotto will remain open until December 24 with a range of Covid secure procedures and protocols in place to ensure it is "good to go."

"Please stay safe everyone and we send you our very best wishes for Christmas and New Year."

'Aladdin: the Pantomime' will be back on stage from November 25, 2021 and the tables will be set for the Gatsby Dinner Show from December 3, 2021.
