But when it comes to choosing where to order food, do you know how clean your favourite restaurants, cafes and takeaways are?

While many are closed due to the lockdown, plenty of businesses have been keeping customers' hunger at bay with collection or takeaway services. And now more than ever they need the support of local residents - which is why The Gazette launched its #supportblackpool campaign to help our struggling traders.

And the good news is, out of more than 1,600 places inspected in Blackpool, the vast majority passed with flying colours - so you can order with confidence.

More than 1,000 scored the top five-star rating, while another 345 were given four stars.
