The owner of The Gallant Pioneer has applied to Blackpool Council for planning permission to build a first floor roof terrace at the premises on Station Road in South Shore.

The hostelry boasts it is Blackpool’s ‘only Rangers pub’ and made headlines in October when it decided to close its doors to fans wanting to watch the Old Firm game against Celtic.
