Blackpool bar temporarily closes its doors due to positive coronavirus case

The Little Black Pug Bar on Talbot Road announced today that it would be shut this weekend "to stop the spread of the virus."

It added that it would be deep-cleaning the venue in the hope of reopening the weekend after, and its main priority was keeping staff and customers safe.

A spokesman for the bar told the Gazette: "Just one member of staff has tested positive, so we thought to stop the spread and protect the rest of the staff and our customers we would close the doors, and get the bar deep cleaned.

"Hopefully we will be ready to reopen next weekend."
