Staff at The Beauty Rooms spent a day working for free and offering treatment where 100 per cent of the profit has been sent to The Christie – one of the largest cancer treatment centres in Europe, based in Manchester.

Kris Turner, who does nails and spray tans at The Beauty Rooms, which forms part of Lytham St Tanz on Station Road, Lytham, said the stunt raised £452 for the cause.
