New theatre show aimed at young audience
Babies Overboard, being staged by the Horse and Bamboo company from October 26 to 29 and programmed by Lytham-based Fable Arts, will be the first time AKS has hired out its drama studio to a commercial theatre company – but it’s a move the school, on Clifton Drive South, St Annes, is keen to embrace.
Paul Crouch, development director at AKS, said: “We had enjoyed working with the Fable team at The Festival of Stories last summer when our performance of ‘& Other Stories’ appeared in the same line-up as Horse and Bamboo’s work, so we knew the work was going to be high quality.”
