A spokesman said: “The fabulous and famous Funny Girls feathers are even more fabulous than ever and the vivacious variety of super gorgeous handmade beaded dresses, diamanté, stone and sequined strewn bejewelled costumes, outlandish outfits, hot pants and headdresses are enough to outshine the Blackpool Illuminations!”

The show is themed around divas from the world of rock and pop and celebrates the best female performers, including Shirley Bassey and the late Amy Winehouse.

The show kicks off with a tribute to Dame Shirley and includes her biggest hits Hey Big Spender and Get This Party Started.

The show also includes swing and Broadway classics, with a nod towards Strictly Come Dancing.

There is also a gospel sing-a-long and a modern take on Elvis.

Dolly Parton, Cher and Lady Ga Ga also figure in the fun.

The shows, which are now underway, run to November 9.
